All right, I've now completely lost all patience with Sansa, since she got her whole household killed and her father arrested for treason by insisting on loving the prince and therefore telling the queen enough of what her father was planning that the queen could fill in the rest of the gaps. Since the ship never left, thanks to Sansa's behavior, none of Ned's contingency plans come to fruition. Arya is the *younger* sister and yet she displays about ten times Sansa's sense. And given the way Joffrey has behaved thus far, I can only see willful blindness as the reason Sansa hasn't seen him for what he is yet. I suspect Arya may end up being the one to save the day-- I can't imagine she won't run into Nymeria again in the woods, and those direwolves are saving everybody's lives right and left.

Now that I'm done with the book I find myself wondering if Sansa is ever going to realize the part she played in Ned's death-- even as badly as things have gone for her, she still doesn't seem to grasp the complete seriousness of what's going on.

hehe, most everyone I know finished GoT hating Sansa. I am probably the only one who ever stands up for the silly chit of a girl. Frankly, considering how she was raised, her worldview is hardly surprising. The character I tend to really hate is Catelyn.
